Ballet Chicago Marketing Coordinator Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator is a full-time, salaried staff position at Ballet Chicago. As part of Ballet Chicago administration, this role is expected to provide marketing, communications, social media, website maintenance, development/fundraising support, and branding continuity. The successful candidate will represent Ballet Chicago’s values when interacting with its students, parents, vendors and the public, with the highest degree of professionalism. S/he supports external-facing activities including relationships with audience, media, and educational outreach partners. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Artistic Director and the Associate Artistic Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-strategizing and administering online and print marketing campaigns / ad placement
-managing in-house and box office ticketing
-managing robust social media content
-managing public facing website
-working with school admin office to create school informational material
-working with development department to create development informational material
-assembling program copy and inserts
-ordering and managing distribution of marketing/promotional materials
-creating and publishing press releases
-promoting lead generation and managing contact list
-overseeing brand management
-compiling and producing video files for grant and social media purposes
-compiling and producing audio files for rehearsal and performance use
-culling through performance images for marketing and grant use
-assisting development department with organizing and running fundraising events and solicitation campaigns
