Seeking fiction, nonfiction & visual art submissions from women & non-binary writers and artists

Antirrhinum is a Chicago-based literary magazine published by multi-disciplinary arts group JKL Collective. We seek to publish a variation of women and non-binary voices in fiction, nonfiction and visual media. 

For our second issue "HAUNTINGS", we call for work from women and non-binary writers and artists that explores the things that haunt us. What lingers? Who or what won't leave us be? 


Fiction & Nonfiction - Please send fiction and nonfiction submissions of up to 5,000 words to Indicate FICTION or NONFICTION with your full name in the subject line. Include your name and email address at the top of each numbered page. Please only send .docx or .pdf documents. 

Visual Media - Please send up to 8 images related to the theme "HAUNTINGS" to We accept .jpeg submissions sized at 300dpi, and around 8x10"/ around 3000 pixels on the long side. Please name your files lastname_1-8.jpeg and include any titles if applicable. 

We welcome simultaneous submissions. If your work is accepted elsewhere, please let us know as soon as possible.
